When an application calls for maximum up time and the power requirement is up to 4.8KVA, the US9003 provides a cost effective uninterruptible power supply solution that can also grow with your system. The US9003 has inverter fault-tolerant function and is also field upgradable and hot-swappable. It is similar to the larger US9001 except that it is line-interactive and is upgradable to a maximum of 4.8KVA. 

The capacity can be easily configured just by plugging into the Cabinet the required number of modules in 400VA increments to the required capacity.

Fault-tolerant inverter 
The system has multiple inverters with each inverter housed in a module that also contains a battery. This duplication of the power generation circuitry increases the reliability of the system significantly. Failure of any single module will not affect the functioning of the system.
Hot-swappable 
The US9003 system will continue to function even when a module fails or is removed from the Cabinet. The module can be removed while the system is running and can be inserted back into operation without stopping the system. This is the real Hot-Swap! Unlike other UPSs which claim to be reliable, the US9003 can be demonstrated to be reliable.
Field upgradable 
The US9003 has two main components - Power Module and Cabinet. The Power Module comes in a single size of 400VA and has a built-in battery to provide backup time that is sufficient for most applications. In situations where backup time needs to be extended, more Power Modules can be added into the system to achieve the desired duration. 

The Cabinet comes in 3 different sizes of 4, 6, and 12 slots. Extra slots can be left empty for future needs. When all slots are occupied, system can be upgraded by replacing the Cabinet with a bigger one and adding additional modules (up to a maximum of 12 slots).
Easy to install and service 
Since each module weighs only 8 kg, the whole system can be easily transported, installed and serviced.
