Servicing most electronic
equipment is seldom an easy task. Getting a technician on-site is costly;
sending equipment out for servicing will take days. In either case, the
system needs to be interrupted for the duration of the service, leaving
it unprotected, and therefore vulnerable.
The solution is to invest in a system
designed for servicing. With a PowerReactor UPS, modules can simply
be hot-swapped, without causing any downtime to the system. Hot-swapping
can be done by the system administrator and requires no special expertise.
When they need servicing, modules
can be easily sent by courier to PK's service center and returned the same
way. No major system removal or special transportation is required. |
