UPSMAN & UPSMON

The UPS management software is a client/server-application for networks and local workstations, UPSMAN is the server module, which communicates with the UPS via RS-232 cable or via Dry-Contact cables. After UPSMAN starts as a background program, it collects data from the UPS and displays pre-defined messages for any UPS events that occurs.

UPSMON is the client module and connects to UPSMAN for UPS data to be displayed on UPSMON's graphical user interface screen. The transport of data to the UPSMON can be done via TCP/IP, IPX, Named Pipes or SNMP.
